Dinner with family on the 1st day of Raya!!

Hello Pee-ps!

I just had to share my dinner experience tonight at Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant at Parkroyal Hotal K.L.! Maybe some of you pee-ps had been to this restaurant i am about to blog about, but, just listen lah!! Hehe d^.^b

It all started in KLCC. Me and my family were in KLCC, and since most of the shops closed at 8pm tonight, we had nothing much to shop for, not much time (we reached at 630pm, hehe, didnt know about the 9pm closing thingie >.<). My mum was sooooo disappointed when she found out that Isetan was closed for the 1st day of Raya!! We went all the way to K.L. because mum wanted to shop there, hahaha =p.

Anyways, dad decided to bring us to this Si Chuan place, which my mum, bro and me hadnt been there before, so we didnt know what to expect, hehe. Upon reaching the hotel, we went down to lower ground, where the restaurant is located. When we entered, i already notice this China looking dude (he IS from China btw, after asking him =)), and he this holding this cooper coloured water pot, with a 4ft long sprout! (is that what its called? The place where the water comes out, hehe, i forgot. Anyways.. ) I will post a pic of him pouring the water later on in this post, damn yeng!

Other than the Chinese dude with the weird tea pot, the tea itself is quite a sight! The tea is called 'Bau Bau Cha'! The tea is NOT JUST made up of tea leaves, it has red dates, dried longan, dried chrysanthemum flower, 'kei chi' and rock sugar. And of course, i took picture of the tea, will post later in this post, together with the Chinese dude =).

Dad ordered soup, 'guai dau miu' (french beans), a typical si chuan fish dish (which was not even on the menu) and a chicken dish. Okay, let me describe the dishes. The french beans are quite normal, just fried. The fish has alot of gravy, quite spicy (si chuan food are very spicy anyway), but perfect to be poured on the rice, very appitising. The chicken was the weirdest dish. It looks perfectly normal, something like KFC's Popcorn Chicken but with dried chillis, garlic. My bro was eating it and he suddenly said: "Eh, why my mouth feel so minty and cooling?", i thought it was the tea, mana tau it was the chicken! And the thing is that, the feeling that my bro was 'sensation-ing' wasnt cooling, it is NUMBNESS to the tongue! >.< The dish is served with "Si Chuan pepper", it is actually too spicy that we felt the numbness before the spicyness! Scary huh? Hahaha.

My dad actually asked me to pay for the meal, with my card (means he pay olso lah, since he sub-ed the card for me, crazy fella. Sorry dad! Hehehe), but he ended up paying with his UOB Bank card. Little that we know, UOB cardholders are given 30% off the bill! Stupid waitress didnt even bother to tell us =(. The bill was about RM200, so the 30% discount saved us RM60 bucks, and my mum suggested that we use the 'savings' for desert and coffee at Dome, hehe. At Dome, we had Brownies with Icecream, and each of us had our own desired beverages, hehe, and the bill came out to be ngam ngam RM60, hahaha.

It was a fun outing, eventhough we didnt get to shop much, because the dinner experience was great! My dad really know of these kind of great food experience, hehehe. Lets go there one day, for the Si Chuan food. Great experience lah ^_^

Of mosquitoes, motobikes and buses

Hmm. The traffic is terrible these few days. Aihs. Just the other day when I was driving Hui Yii for tuition, the traffic was quite quite heavy ler. SO many motorbikes on the road! >_<>

I'm sorry bikers if you're reading this. You might need to prepare for what I'm going to say next, and look out for my car. :P

The irritation I got from those motorbikes was similar to the feeling of 5 or 6 mosquitoes flying around you! Waaaaahhhh. When the bikes zoomed past and weaved about between the cars, the first thought that came into my mind was that they're as annoying as mosquitoes buzzing around you. T_T

What comes into my mind when I think of mosquitoes is to KILL THEM! Wahahaha~ *evil laugh* I'm sorry but I do kill mosquitoes (not bikers). But the thought of the bikers zooming in and out of those lanes... I wouldn't be surprised if the accident rate for bikes are higher these few days. T_T

So... It is true that... what applies to mosquitoes, applies to bikers too - you either kill them or tolerate them (think of the times you've donated your blood to the mossies. T_T) Hahaha. Of course, I don't mean that you should intentionally bang motorcyclists down. T_T Do be careful on the road. Don't drink and drive or squish those bikes. :P

Hahaha. Oh about the bus. :P My bus uncle was rather in a bad mood a few days ago (he was late and all) ... Then at this junction turning into Taylor's PJ... My goodness... His keganasan when he turned into the road... Hahaha... *pengsan*

Hmm, there was this lady wanting to cross the road. Why she wanted to cross the road when she saw the bus coming still remains a puzzle to me as the bus was going quite fast. -_-" I guess my bus uncle being in the bad mood he was already in, didn't want to slow down for her. Instead... He accelerated. :P Wah... Must have been super scary for that lady because she literally raaaaaaaaan across the road and barely reached the side of the road in time. She got a really loud honk from Mr. Bus uncle. Hahaha. Hmm. Then I saw her scolding. :P Hmm, sort of feel like it's her own fault... -_-" she SAW the bus coming and STILL wanted to cross the road. -_-" cannot wait mehhhhh. Aiyooo... Haha, what to do, had to run and risk her life. Huhuhu. T_T So dangerous.

A very peeee outing :)

Hohoho.. Our outing today was fun! :):) but den xl and mh missing in action. :( Aih~ oh well.. There is always a next time :) Let me tell about the outing in detail so that ck and mf will feel more guilty about it *laughs wickedly* hohoho.. okok.. hmm.. Tennis was suppose to be at 8(good thing it wasnt at 7 :P) this morning but when i msged ck and mf at 8 no one replied. So after collecting the tennis rackets from our friend's hse, we headed to ck's hse. On the way i decided to call him just in case last minute he decides not to go. Actually we were abit late oso la.. hehehe..

8.20 am*ring ring* ( it rang for quite some time ok.)
Ck:hello. *mumble mumble, still not awake yet.*
hy: hallo, good morning ck~
*pause*
Ck: OMG!!!!! Im so sorry!!
(shows that he's not awake yet. -.-'')
hy: *laughs* what about meng fai? What time is he coming? Nvm la. I give him a call now. bye~
Ck: okok.. im so sorry!! bye~

8.25am *ring ring* ( this time, i had to dial 3 times, third time only mf picked up)
Mf: hello *also mumble mumble, not awake yet.. aih~*
hy: hallo.. You just woke up? We're on the way to ck's hse now la.
Mf: HUH? Why so early??? Now only 7 20 laaa...
hy: no la.. It's 8 20!
Mf: huh.. no laa.. It's 7 20!
hy: no la.. You look properly and see. -.-'' =_=

So at around 8 25, we reached ck's hse and waited for 20 mins. Haha. Around 8 48,
*ring ring*
ck: hallo, where are you all now?
hy: erh.. outside your hse?

hahaha.. So after that we went into his house to wait for mf to come. So while waiting, we decided to play taboo, ck's one day old present. For a game that is meant for 12 years and above, its quite hard! T_T there were actually words like tidal wave, cash flow, void, and names like david beckham and hugh jackman and pompeii =_=.. How do you actually explain all this? aihyoh.. hahaha.. But after we were about to start, meng fai arrived. At 9 10 am. Tsk tsk tsk...

And after everything, we finally reach the club. At 9 40 am. After signing in and everything, we headed to the tennis courts.. hohoho.. Because of my big mouth, me and meng fai made a bet. Whoever loses the game hav to pay for lunch. Aish.... Ck and mf against me and myii. One game = 3 sets. One set= 6 points. We won the first set ok. 6 points! Then after that, we decided to make the 2nd set 3 points. At the 3rd set, we actually wanted to make it 1 point! hahaha.. Play game not so fun cos got so many rules.. (N) haha.. Simply play funner cos u can whack the ball everywhere.. 2nd set ck and mf won ler. And the geram thing was, the 3rd set they won by one point!!! 2-1!! T_T Not bad for first timer tennis players. hahaha. But nvm, thats bcos our tennis kaki dint come. Next time challenge again!! hohoho :P:P

hmm.. We played until around 11 something and the sun was so hot. T_T After that, we went to cool down. Around 12-ish we wanted to go bathe but we decided to go walk around the pool instead. We thought meet after bathing but they actually went straight to the pool(some miscommunication thingy) and dey ended up dipping in the pool O_O all sweaty and everything.. eiyerr.. hahaha..

Played taboo while eating lunch. (Ck and mf ended up paying for lunch :P haha.. Thanks!! :):) )The game is quite chi gek cos got the timer and everything. Hahaha. Ck, mf and myii won. But oh well, elicia and i lost by one point only ok :P And you all had 3 heads we had two. (was it one point? cant rmb ler :S) After that, dad called and we had to rush home. hohoho. hahaha finally im posting again..lol..sorry about the looong break :P but since i have already been fined...i am not soRRRY!!! :P haha jkjk...anyways gonna have a hectic week...=\ have to get started with my project..building sum water tank thingy...n then on thursday i have 2 quizzes, a presentation to do on friday...n my fren whom i nvr seen for 3 yrs is coming on wednesday... v (T_T) v..so thats leave me onli tuesday to do my stuff!! n now...^_^ btw on friday are u guys n girls free? maybe go watch movie and/or bowling or something =D wait for the nott ppl to come back from semenyih..hehe..@ 1u..of course XD..aihs anyways i need start making the powerpoint presentation tonite...n i dun even know how to use it..have to learn T.T..oooh n dat day me n mf went nott..it was fun! :P haha SOME ppl cant go...aww...we went swimming...they have tennis court..basketball court..squash...football field...ooh i dropped moe's phone..cover came out..n lsot his keypads =\ hahaha..then at nite had not bad chinese food...n khei terjatuh after dat => the main event of the day..lol..had some scars at her elbow there..should be alright by now hopefully lol..n then the next day..me n mf slept like a pig...wanted to wake up early..haha but woke up at 12...aaren's room looked quite dark still..i mean it wasnt dark..but not bright either =P rite mf? slept in a sleeping bag..then packed up n went semenyih town for lunch...but most of the food were kinda sold out =.=..the nasi goreng stall had no more nasi...so couldnt eat my sambal petai fried rice -.-''' so...after our chicken rice...we embarked on our journey back home lol...me n moe went to coll..n moe ilegally entered THE WEBBBBBB....@.@ lets report him in! wahahaha! *evil* and so....this is probably gonna be my longest post! haha for those who are still reading up till here..hope ur not cursing me :P i wouldnt blame u if u stop reading haha coz i know i wouldnt read so much too! so anyways hope i skipped any form of fine =P and exams coming nearer eh hy my ;) wa ha ha ha..stressnesssss...haha sumore my so cham..go coll for 1 hour class...but have to wake up soooo early...n wait so long in coll...hahaha...hy y dun u follow her to coll lol..since u dun enjoy school as well ! lol..im a bad influence ^^..anyways...hy n my..just as a friendly piece of advice..u guys better brush up ur tennis skills! coz tennis ong is co-minggggg to townnnn! Nothing to do

haha...cant believe i am posting now...haha...i having Professional Skills class at the computer lab now....haha...so boring....sorry....ppl..i forgot to post last week...the week so far was great...but as usual i didnt do anything....lazing around only...but i managed to fnish my second assignment...woo hooo..... haha...tuesday...was a public holiday...me and a few of my frens...went for pan mee....at first...then one of my frens decided to go to the Broga waterfall...we wanted to go there...but apparently it was abandoned....so we went to another waterfall...so far...further then KL...we went there unprepared.....but we just jumped in....so cooold.....so fun.....we went back shivering.....many of us got sick after that..haha..but not me..wahaha...so strong....thanks to gymstick (very long never do edi) haha....and about the fine....i fine myself Rm1 f course....and i am setting up a fine counter at the side of the blog...and the fine will then be used for .....ice- cream....baskin robbins.......woo hoo....so long ppl

*cough and wheezes while typing* The haze is really really bad ler. Worse than before :( I thought the haze cleared already because it was such a bright clear sunny day yesterday. Mana tau woke up this morning and the haze came back.. WAH.... T_T Hmm.. just came back from driving!! HOHO ^^ It was fun :P:P Everything went smoothly. I didn't bang anything, i didn't feel like banging any motorcyclists down :P:P, nobody honked me, nobody wanted to bang me down. Wahahaha :P good good. Cousins came over yesteday and they decided to play marco polo :P (something like blind's man buff) and we as GOOD cousins had to play along with them. :P The person who was blindfolded had to call out "marco" and we had to answer "polo". But surprisingly they could see where we were even though they were blindfolded. ( I bet their eyes were only half covered :P:P hAhAhaha!) After that, we decided to lie on the floor under the fan because it was so cooling and Myii suggested lying on each other's tummies. You all should try it. Its really comfortable! :D hehehe... Hmm, life has been pretty mundane the past week. Nothing much to blog about...

Unless you wanna hear my boring stories about how I celebrated Moon Cake Festival! :P All we did was to... burn candles. But we did managed to make a heart shape out of wax. Hahaha. So geng. :P My work of art. *coughs modestly*

The haze has cleared! Woot! Good good. :D Hm. I wonder where the mosquitoes are coming from. *sobs* I got so many love bites from them. Huhuhu. T_T They love me so much... Hahaha.

Missed church today for a performance of "Prince Ali". Hehehe. We played someone else's arrangement. Hoho. T_T Mine wasn't chosen. *sobs pitifully at a corner* Hahaha. But her arrangement is gooooood. Plus she was the first to complete her piece. Hehehe. Goody goody.

hmm~ Having holidays now so i have more time to study at home.. Went swimming yesterday.. the sun was shining, the sky so blue.. the day was just lovely :D hehehe.. went for bm tuition today.. it was quite ok ler.. We were talking about breast cancers n de chances of guys having breast cancer n what will happen when a guy gets breast cancer bcos dey dun exactly have breasts.. :P hahahaha... and after dat conversation goes on n on.. until we were talking about 5 weeks left before spm.. which is around.. 40+ days? den after dat i realised dat its october already.. SPM IS NEXT MONTH!!! AAAAHHHHH!!!! i need to study.. reaaallllyyyy need to study so that i can get dat deal.. must be kiasu from now on.. hehehe :P ohh.. den after dinner just now right, my dad was asking meiyii whether she speaks english or chinese in college.. n den after dat she decided to speak to me in chinese *sweat =.='' sweat buckets of sweat* n den she was telling me "lai wo men jiang hua yu".. the way she said it was so fast (twice the speed) dat i couldnt really understand.. it was kinda like babbling.. haha.. i joined in after awhile and we started laughing really hard (the kind where u start whacking each other's legs and hands.. n the table).. hahaha.. that was how my day went :) i guess dats it for now.. any longer n i dun think anyone will read it :P haha.. take care ppl n hav fun in uni/college~ haha

30th Sept 06, Part III - My afternoon after KLIA!

HAHAHA i think you guys and gals will be bored of my post after this, but just wanna share my remainding hours of the day with y'all.

After that, went paintball at TT Sportspark. CK suppose to come along, but he said he was busy, and in addition to the broken down car thingie, he couldn't make it. Anyways CK, you would be disappointed too, because the chicks that was suppose to turn up, didn't, only "chicks", hahaha.

Paintball was fun, with my secondary classmates. It wasn't that cheap lah, at 48bucks for an average of 200 palettes per person. But if one person shoots more than the other, he will have more palettes. We should all go and try paintball one day, its fun! But for girls, herm.. it hurts lah when you get hit by the paintball. Ouch.. >.<

I killed this fella 3 times! Hahaha! And i didnt kill him with just ONE shot, kena already, i shot another like 5 more palettes and he went jumping, hahaha it was damn damn funny. And the best thing was, i didn't get shot at all! Haha means i didn't die at all loh, hahaha!!

After paintball, had japanese with family. Went home thought wanna blog about the day, couldn't make it to the laptop, the bed caught my attention first, hahaha. Dropped dead and dozed off.

So.. that was my both good and bad day!

30th Sept 06, Part II!

Hi again all!

Back from my fast, early, near and simple 'Bak Kut Teh' dinner. Bro needed to go to his tuition (WAHAHA! =p) so we need to eat a simple dinner.

Okay, here is part II of the 'memorable day'. We got on the cab and head to the airport. We got there with minutes to spare until XL need to enter the gate. When we got off the cab, paid the cash-sucking-cab-driver, we ran, and yes, we RAN! We ran to look for XL! I actually had no idea where XL was, CK spotted him though so we RAN to his direction. Haha we ran like those drama, where the actor is chasing someone who is leaving, hahaha!

I was glad that we caught up with the fella. We chat a bit with him, made some jokes (i think). Eventhough we need to bust our butts to get there, but it was worth it i think because we managed to say our goodbyes to him and gave him a hug! (and a kiss, hahaha joking joking =p)

After seeing him enter the gate, his parents gave us a ride back to my broken down car at the toll. We bought bottles of 1.5L water to cool the car down, hehehe. We managed to cool the car down and lower down the temperature, but still not able to drive it, my dad didn't allow either.

We sat in the car, for about an hour and half just to wait for my dad to come to rescue us. While in the car, me and CK got irritated by this bloody FLY! That 'big-disgusting' flying 'thing' disturbed us for about an hour!! =(

After my dad came, he drove the over heated car home whereas me and the guys drove the car that my dad drove to save us. We had to stop every now and then to cool the engine down, because it wouldn't make it back to Subang if we didnt stop. Finally, the 'Subang Jaya' road sign! Yeepie!! Sent the car to the workshop, sent CK and Aaren back to take their car.

So sorry guys, had to pull you along! Still owe the both of you lunches!! Thats about it for the day lah. For me, CK and Aaren, it has been a terrible and loooooooong grusome day! =(

A couple of 'Should have' that day, haha.
1) Should have just drove my own car, my Waja, rather than the stupid Kia Sorento. (Kia sucks!!)
2) Should have brought my camera to KLIA! Left it in the broken down Kia at the toll!! Haiiihhhh.. .

Anyways, XL don't know what happened before and after we met him, so.. Dude! We went through quite a bit to get our butts to sent you off!! hahaha =) By the way, take care dude, contact us when you have your connection in the UK!! All of us back here waiting ro hear from you!

30th Sept 06 - A memorable day!

hi all!

I don't think i'll be fined, right? Since i posted 2 posts in, what, 3 days? haha. Spare my pocket guys and gals! ^.^

Wow, where do i start to tell you guys how was my 30th of Sept 2006? A long long day indeed. Anyways here goes..

A great buddy of mine (and ours) will be 'flying on a jet plane' to London for a MEng in Chemical Engineering in Imperial college (gulp.. ), and his fees alone cost his dad a bomb! haha. The plan was for CK and me to send him off at KLIA. The first unfortunate thing that happened in the morning was my bloody alarm didnt ring! I woke up when CK called me (and you know CK aint that punctual as well, hehe). I woke up and found out we need to leave in about 15 minutes to have approx an hour to spend with XL before he had to board the plane. I had to wait for CK to come to my place first though because we are going in 1 car. CK arrived and we head off, about 25 minutes behind schedule, hehe.

We got on the Kesas highway and turned into the 1st exit to KLIA. After the toll, i was paying too much attention into choosing a song on my iPod and took the wrong exit! And we (me actually) accidentaly head to Shah Alam, which is the direct opposite way. We later found a u-turn and manage to head back the correct way, after a huge huge round, and another 10-15 minutes later.

After we got back on track, we were enjoying our music and car ride until we got to the KLIA toll. Upon reaching the toll, i notice my car isn't accelerating off as it was suppose to be, so i checked my gear because i thought i had put the car into another gear. The gear was in the correct position (which is D, drive). Later i somehow noticed that the temperature gauge was shooting off its red mark, which meant that the car was overheating!!

I immediately stopped beside of the road, and since it was right after the toll, it was safe. We got down and notice that the smoke was coming out beneath the hood. We didnt know what to do so i called my dad, and he said not to drive it because it may burn the engine! I was soooooo frustrated because i didn't expect this to happen, and we were only 15-20km away from XL!! (which is about 5-10 minutes drive, for me at least, hehe. Anyways.. .) ARGHH!! !!! !! =(

We tried to stop a cab to the airport so we could meet XL before he left. Finally one china ahpek stopped for us, i locked the car and jumped up the taxi. He was trying to slaughter us by asking for 30 bucks for a short ride, but manage to negotiate with him and we got off with a 20 bucks ride. It wasn't much seeing that we were in a desperate situation, hehe =).

Reached airport and after sending off XL in part II! Have to go out for dinner! hehe.

My longest post

yo yo...everyone...minghann here...have to post today if not i will get fined.....cant post in nottingham....computer lab too far... lazy to walk...haha....anyways....lots of things happened this week....haha...where should i start....i should start from last sunday....sob sob..missed ice breakers nite.....coz i came late.....have lots of packing to do...haha...went mamak later...and met alot of new frens....went there until 1.30 i think....so tired...couldnt concentrate....on..my first lesson .....fluid mechanics....but managed to stay awake...for the whole lecture...maybe because...of mohan...sitting next to me....then...we had a bit of maths...cant recall..some of the formulas..have to start reading back edi....luckily classes end at 1 everyday...so i have time..to revise (actually play badminton after class everyday) badminton was fun...eventhough i not really good at it....those guys there are really good...luckily i appointed...haha....a badminton coach to train me...woo hoo....oh..and i met somemore new frens...yay...besides that..i met up with some of my high school frens..whom i have not seen in ages...then..we had this crazy hunt thingy...winner gets RM200...yay...but unfortunately...my group only got 8th place..so sad...could have done better...but it was really fun...except for the running part...ran the whole campus..about 101 acres...not easy ....and got our faces painted.....ahh...after that...so tired...but still went mamak until 3.00am....crazy...the next day...computer class..3 hours straight....i was like half dead....trying to hide behind the monitor...to sleep...haha....but..then...i decided to do something...so that i wont fall asleep....haha..i drew the lecturer's using microsoft paint...and...me and mohan..decided to sent it to everyone...haha...every chemical engineering student...got it..haha..so funny...everyone was laughing....luckily..the lecturer didnt see it..haha...somemore use my email account.....thats why..everyone know me edi...haha....finally...friday...classes end at 3.30pm so sad....have to rush to pack my stuff...and drove as fast as i could (80km/h only) haha...reached home...about 5...and have to immediately....fly to One U....fot Xls farewell..sob sob...missed part of the movie...and terkick huiyiis chair..sorry..not purposely ler...the movie was funny....then had dinner at bbq plaza...woo hoo.... so syok...very long never eat bbq edi....yay....so nice...except...for the drinks part...asked for water...also cannot...haha....then...the tee sisters gave the book...to XL..i was expecting him to cry....aih~...maybe..he went home..and cried one litres of tears...and then...so unlucky when i exit the carpark...first...the...ticket expired...have to pay extra rm1...then...when i was about to follow ck to his home...i terhit...the side i think...and boom...tyres got punctured....so scary...luckily..got ck and aaren to help...the tyre so heavy....hands all dirty somemore...so unlucky...( maybe too sad edi..thinking about..xl leaving tmr..so sad..then didnt pay attention) oh ya..then got the cookies..as nice as famous amos...so nice...tq tq...sorry...ya...didnt eat baskin robbins once again...next time sure eat...haha......xl..sorry...i wanted to call u before your flight...but i woke up at 12pm (too tired edi)...i tried to message u...but i think..u off your phone edi...sorry...ok..anyways...take care...in uk...remember...to msg us..when u get ur internet connection....okies..thats all for now...byes...

You wan mineral water? So in the end we filled up the comment card dat time.. all oso poor/ average/ very poor.. hahaha..
The movie was so funny that me n meiyii laughed so much.. When the movie ended our bladders were about to burst.. That was why we walked so fast.. Needed to go to de toilet badly.. Dont drink so much of water while watching movie next time ok.. :D I thought meng fai was kicking my chair de whole time.. legs too long redi.. :P but den when i turned around it was actually ming hann! haha.. so terrible..
Pushing aaren was really fun.. I wanna do it again!! HOHO.. :P I dunno why meiyii said it was funny.. But when i let go i was really scared he was going to bang into de car.. hahaha.. yeah yeah.. xl.. u dint cry... not fun! aishh...
Our ticket expired... T_T and bcos meiyii was driving.. i had to get down de car to find for the autopay machine thingy.. so dangerous in the lonely carpark for a girl like me ok.. *shy shy* so all in all.. it was really fun!! hoho.. :D:D
